Fake Artist Goes to New York is a creative party game for 5–10 players. Each round, one player becomes the Question Master, choosing a category and secretly writing a word from that category on dry-erase cards for the others — except for one card, which shows only an “X.” That unlucky player is the fake artist!

Players take turns adding a single connected line to a communal drawing, going around twice. The goal for most players is to help illustrate the secret word without giving it away, while the fake artist tries to blend in without knowing what’s being drawn. After two rounds of drawing, everyone votes on who they think the fake artist is. Points are awarded depending on whether the fake artist is caught and if they can correctly guess the word.
