Create the most charming canal houses in Amsterdam!

Canal Houses is a light, family-friendly hand-drafting game for 2–4 players in which you construct picturesque canal-side homes using bases, floors, and roofs.

Each round, players simultaneously select one card from their hand and add it to their tableau, following the building rules below.

Once everyone has built their chosen card, each player passes their remaining three cards to the person on their left. After receiving a new hand from the right, players choose one card type—base, floor, or roof—and draw a card of that type to bring their hand back up to four cards.

A finished house is made of a base at the bottom, any number of floor cards in the middle, and a roof on top. Construction must always proceed from the ground up: you must start with a base and place the roof last.
