The King of Babylon wishes to surprise his wife, Queen Amytis, with an extraordinary gift: the most breathtaking city ever conceived. He has summoned two master architects to present their visions—only the finest design will be realised. Now it’s your turn to craft the most magnificent city.
Architects of Amytis is a tile-placement game that blends elements of worker placement with clever “three-in-a-row” tactics.
On your turn, choose a tile from the main board and place one of your Architect pawns onto its matching stack. You then add the tile to your personal board—either on an empty space or by building upward to create a taller city. Tiles come in four colours and represent six different types of buildings. Each building provides immediate points when placed, while the colours help you recreate the King’s desired patterns, scoring additional points at the end of the game.
Placing your Architects strategically on the main board is equally important. If you manage to form a row, column, or diagonal of three pawns, you earn a King’s Favour, unlocking another scoring opportunity during end-game evaluation.
With each building offering two distinct scoring paths, every playthrough invites new strategies and fresh challenges.
Will your design become the wonder the Queen deserves?
